"The staff was very friendly. It was an older hotel but had everything we needed. Two lounge chairs for tv watching, a kitchen small but efficient for our needs. "The Beachside was perfect for what I needed, a quick, one-night stop. The room was comfortable and clean, and I got a good night’s rest. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. However, like every property around it, The Beachside suffered significant storm damage. The deck and pool were damaged and off limits. The sliding glass door to the balcony would not lock. Once repairs are finished, I’d up this rating significantly. "

"This hotel is as advertised. Hotel rooms are huge, with big balconies and bathrooms. Beds are comfortable. Views are outstanding. Didnt eat at the hotel but the food looked good. Check in was easy. Staff was friendly. Smores in the firepits at dusk were a nice touch. Weve been looking for a new hotel in Daytona since Ian and we finally found it. Very happy with our stay."

"Dated but it was a good stay overall. It’s basically Russian roulette on if you get an updated room or a really dingy room. The first day / night we were there was rough with the A/C being out but once that was fixed it was fine. Room stayed cool & the tile floors stayed dry.
