"The food in The Lion was first class, and the service from Elisha and Mark. However the room had a few problems 1 the hot water was scolding instantly and no mixer , if any child opens the hot tap they woild have 3rd degree burns. 2 the coffee machine had no water chamber ( missing ) 3 there was no bulb in the table lamp Room was clean just not maintained regular in my opinion , ive been in the trades for 40 years so all the jobs would take an hour After saying that i would still stay...

"An old-fashioned country pub next to Culham station. Some low level train and road noise but still peaceful. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room and bed. Excellent breakfast."

"Really nice pub, good food and drink. Nice rooms, well maintained. The only negatives were that the matress on my bed was really uncomfortable, past its best by a long way. Also, the price of the food was too high for what it was, very nice but a checken burger is not worth £18.95...."

"Excellent!! Warm welcome followed by delightful service at dinner. Delicious mushrooms and pie - and plenty of it. The room is furnished in a modern style with everything I needed, including a comfortable bed. All this followed by my favourite breakfast - eggs Benedict cooked to perfection. "
