"Kind people operating it. The property has a great view to the Pico Mountain, there are multiple houses lined up on a small street. It's a very peaceful vibe. It's within walking distance (an a beautiful walk - nice village with flowers, and fruits) to a cafe/bakery, a couple of restaurants, and a nice natural pool for swimming."

"My husband and I loved this property. We explored all over São Miguel and it seemed like no matter where we went, we were no further than an hour away. The house is spacious and beautiful and had everything we needed (including a washer and dryer). My absolute favorite part was the terrace and surrounding garden. "Karen was a wonderful host, she is a great communicator, the house was clean, and had so many extra little things that made the stay that much better. A beautiful view of the ocean, and the backyard was full of lovely flowers and plants. I will for sure book with Karen again, and my fiancée and I are recommending her to our family and friends."

"We were not psychologically prepared for such a tight parking spot as there was a large vehicle beside us. The stay was large and comfy and the kitchen was very essential part of the convenience and freedom. Perhaps it’s the cultural difference as the elevator went to nowhere in between floors. Apartment B has no blackout curtains. We didn’t find the broom until the last day of stay. Laundry and deck allowed for wash and dry of laundry. "

"This apartment was exactly as pictured and represented. It's located in a quiet area - Ponto Formoso - a short 20-25 minute drive from the airport and 5-10 minutes from the bigger town of Ribiera Grande. The view from the apartment is the best. We loved eating every meal on the balcony and ending our days laying out on the beach and going for a swim. There are two life guard towers and snack bar style restaurant on the beach. "We really enjoyed our stay, and the view of the apartment and the host was super helpful and responsive with several questions we had along the way. The only reason for a 4 rating was the floor wasn't super clean (the rest was) and it was a particularly hot week late July/early August and we found the apartment very hot and hard to cool down, even with fans. "Everything about our short stay was excellent. The owner is very helpful and accommodating. The apartment and contents are brand new and of very high quality. Everything has been given careful thought. There is masses of storage space for clothes etc. Furniture, fittings and equipment show the level of investment in this small but superb space.The apartment faces onto the road so may not suit those who want peace and quiet but we enjoyed watching the world go by and didn’t find it a problem."
