"Friendly, comfortable. Newly renovated and quite well done for an affordable hotel. Coffee in the room would have been nice but it was offered downstairs. I'm picky with hotels, id totally stay again. We love old cars, we liked the neighbours yard"

"The food was good, the beds were comfortable, the room was large and well laid out. There was fully stocked (silverware, glasses/pots and new microwave/dishwasher/frig. The bathroom was smaller but had excellent towels and modern shower. There was a couch and privacy room separation curtain. The staff was pleasant and helpful with good humor. I would recommend it to family and friends."

"The Wilkes-Barre Lodge was a great choice for our one night stay near the Mohegan Sun Poconos Casino. It looked newly renovated and was very clean and inexpensive. Our room was missing a cover over one outlet and had a broken cover on an outlet/switch combo. It also didn't have hangers for our coats or a suitcase rest. These things were minor and easy to work around. I would stay here again if we go back to this area. "

"From the second we walked in your hotel, we were treated so kindly. Staff were very helpful and personable. Everything was so clean. Loved little touches in the room: how towels were folded, tissues. The hot tub was amazing, exactly what we needed. The beds were super confortable. "

"I would not recommend this place for out of town travelers, it is very unkept; dried blood stains on sheet, dirty floors, walls, just plain nasty. Bathroom ceiling totally cracked ready to fall down, dirty walls tub looks infected, refrigerator does not work. Bathroom mirror on door filled with stains smudges and stains all over the room. Room needs a complete overhall"
