"The steps outside could use some repairs but overall room was comfortable and just on a beautiful mountain. Be aware roads are very windy and narrow to get up there and stop for food before you do. Was great for late night star gazing. The host was amazing and very knowledgeable and helpful. He lead a couple nights of star gazing and pointed out the Atlas Comet, several satellites and planets. He took a map out for us for Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon and pointed out all the most sees....

"Sandy the caretaker was lovely and did a good job, going out of her way to place fresh flowers and write directions to the park entrance. It has a very nice view and is quiet and remote. Furniture is quality and comfortable. But cats took over the porch, there was no heat, no cell reception, and the well could run out of water at anytime. Be ready for remote living."

"This cabin is absolutely beautiful! I could go on and on about my stay here. The owners are lovely people and you can tell that so much thought went into creating this little slice of heaven. We can't wait to come back in the summer. 15/10!!"

"The communication and hospitality from the host was impeccable! The neighbors were friendly and helpful and we had access to so much that made the stay enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to add curtains to the front windows (there were field trip kids that passed by a few times a day and waved in - which was delightful! once I realized that I should probably put on a robe :/) We will definitely stay again - thank you!! "I can honestly say I've never stayed in a cabin without a restroom or electricity and I heated it with the wood they provided which was very funlight were propane lights, lit with a match. However the drive up and down the Mt. Was at the least, not for the faint of heart...very rough on my car."

"Loved being so close to Sequoia Park, and truthfully we mostly used it just to rest before and after the park. I did find myself wondering why the quilts were ugly-side-out. The area around where the rooms are was a little worse for wear. But the room was clean enough, and I really, truly loved the sheets that were on the bed."

"I shared a spacious room with my 2 adult kids at Lazy J"s and we were very comfortable. 2 queens AND 2 singles . Clean comfortable bedding, extra blankets (our trip was in Nov) , enough towels in the bathroom. Maid service replaced everything correctly each day. We drove up from LA and arrived at 8:45 pm but were still welcomed at reception.Very friendly atmosphere. Parked right in front of our room. As it was dark when we arrived we had no idea what lovely views would greet us the next day. Great place to drive into Sequoia National Park each day. Room had fridge & microwave & coffee machine so we were able to eat in room. Had a wonderful stay. Humming birds galore!!!"
