"Stay was good. Very disappointed that morning desk person did not speak English and would not help us get taxis to our destination. 19 of us stayed there and had difficulty getting to our next destination. Also would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room. "

"The straightest route from this property, Rue Saint-Nicolas, to the city's main attraction is actually dangerous - it is lined with cat-calling and confrontational men and gangs of thieves - I would think advice on this from reception was very important but none was given. The rooms were great for the price and clean too, but very warm - they should be air-conditioned! We were refused a second fan. "We were only here for one night but we enjoyed our stay. Great to have a little studio with a kitchen! The only improvement we would recommend is adding anti-slip mats to the bathroom as the tub was quite slippery. "

"Used this hotel for a stop off driving from italy. Great little hotel, right off the motorway so easy to get to, reasonable resturant and a pool for a refreshing dip after a very long drive. Nice clean and comfortable room too. "

"Check in was smooth and fast. The room was comfortable and clean . The kitchen area doesn't have a plug for the kettle, which is awkward as you have to plug the kettle in somewhere else. Not very well thought through. Breakfast was very nice with everything you could want! Underground parking is very useful."

"Beautiful small hotel in an amazing historic building. Staff are extremely welcoming & friendly. Our room was huge with very high ceilings. It was spotless and very quiet despite being very central. Great breakfast and it’s dog friendly. We will definitely be back. "

"The host and staff were very kind and helpful. The property was in a restored home which made it quaint. The main level was great for relaxing. Plenty of room. We played cards one night. It felt like we were sitting in a living room. "

"The car park was small and we had to pre-book a space. The staff were very helpful. The hotel facilities are limited but perfectly adequate, with a good breakfast offer and a small bar for a late drink. The location is in the very centre of the city close to the river, shopping and restaurants. "

Practical place to stay with all the basics

"This hotel is very centrally located and practical but not special. On one side of the block, there were drunk/high people hanging out with some others who were loitering in groups during the day. The other side has some fun bistros that are active at night. The hotel is pretty clean overall with contemporary, simple white interiors with light wood accents with very friendly front desk service and a more than adequate breakfast spread for an additional cost. Breakfast included not only croissants & nice breads but eggs, cheese, meat and more. Rooms were a good size and had comfortable beds. If you expect to have a stay with charm in this architecturally interesting city, this is not it but it has the basics for a practical place to stay."
