"The room's nice and neat. The only real problem was, during our stay, the water pressure was just strong enough to shower and flush the toilet, but if you set the water heater at the weakest setting, it gets too hot and is therefore unusable. Other than that, there's no other problems; the area's safe and quiet with many options for dining and leisure"

Hotels.com was charging us so much more for rebooking but when I called and emailed the hotel, they gladly waived the fees being a local resident and Christmas spirit. "Although an old hotel it still has its charm. The staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs. The breakfast is excellent. Although the room was showing its age it was very comfortable. You can hear traffic noise at times but the hotel sits on a busy street. My only concern is that the coffee supplied in your room is 3 in 1. I tried to ask for sugar free option but that seems to confuse the staff. Overall an enjoyable stay"
