"Grand old place in need of a big clean, but absolutely phenomenal experience. The staff were fantastic; friendly and helpful. The dining room and food stations were unbelievable. A pianist was playing during dinner. It was amazing. Nice hot Onsen too. One was outside overlooking the ocean. Very special. I loved that I could have the window open. "I rented the room with the private washroom and also a private onsen. However the private onsen looked a bit dirty/old so I did not use it at all. Instead they have three private baths available outside your room to use. I would not suggest getting the private onsen in the room. We actually went to the wrong hotel building at check in, and they immediately sent a pick-up for us to get to the correct building. "I really liked Toyoko Inn Odawara. I am sorry I was unable to book other Toyota Inn stays in Japan. The room was comfortable, with a TV screen showing all necessary information. You could find toiletries and pyjamas in the ground floor lobby. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful (you sat at long tables along with other guests; it was a buffet style meal). My only issue was that I had been unable to sign up for membership from overseas."
