The quiet wooded retreat awaits: custom-built, elegant living space, warm hospitality, with stylish designer amenities and all the comforts of home.

The Home
We'll provide everything you'll need for a pleasant and relaxing stay.
First floor: king bedroom, open kitchen / living area, bathroom and laundry room
Upstairs: a second king bedroom
* Tastefully decorated interior
* Soaring vaulted ceilings allow the sunlight to flood the main living area
* Bluetooth speakers
* Double patio doors that lead to the outdoors
* Large sundeck overlooking the woods for either dining or relaxing outdoors
* Amenities and thoughtful touches that show we truly care about the comfort and quality of your stay
This makes for the perfect Door County hideaway for a couple, a small family or a solo adventurer.

The Location
Located 1.7 miles from downtown Bailey's Harbor, enjoy a popular destination on the "quiet side" of the peninsula along the shores of Lake Michigan.
* Set in the sleepy woods just outside of Bailey's Harbor
* Three minute car ride, thirty minute walk or five minute bike ride takes you into town to visit :
Cana Island Lighthouse, hike at the Ridges Sanctuary, the village park, marina, beach, boutiques, restaurants, brewery, winery, bike/kayak rentals, ice cream / coffee shops, Sunday farmer's market and more.
* Centrally located on the peninsula making visits to all of Door County's most popular little towns: Sister Bay, Ephraim, Fish Creek, and Egg Harbor all within a short drive (5-15 min).

The Comfort, Safety & Security

* There is a 2nd dwelling on the property that is occasionally occupied by the owner.
* We extend a warm welcome to all guests in our home. Please do not attempt to violate the basic house rules related to: occupancy, pets, smoking or parties etc. and put us all in an uncomfortable position. If you have a question about house rules please ask.

Cutest, newest A-Frame in the woods!
This A-Frame is brand new and decorated with everything we needed for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. I loved waking up in the morning and looking out the huge window into our own private forest view. I saw deer both mornings. In the evenings, we loved the gas fireplace on the deck and enjoyed using the smart TV and bluetooth speaker. Such a great property in a great location. Super close to Bailey's Harbor where there are fabulous breweries, coffee shops and restaurants. I loved hiking in The Ridges too!

Perfect Little Cottage
This little Cottage is the perfect location. The property is extremely clean and very comfortable. Everything you need is here, the location was fantastic and made getting anywhere very easy. This property is amazing! Very relaxing and serene. Wonderful deck to grill and a firepit to hang out by. The cabin was a perfect setting for my wife and I to relax, recharge and celebrate our wedding anniversary. We loved the house, the outdoor seating area was very nice, we love the nature views out the windows. The hosts were great with communication. We arrived after a long day driving and were very pleased with our choice in this rental. The kitchen had everything needed to cook inside as well as using the grill outside. The fire pit on the deck was and added bonus and we enjoyed cooking cherry pies over the fire. Everything was easy to use and the location was quiet, yet close to activities. We had a question and got a quick response from the owner. It was our first trip to Door County and this home helped us build nice memories. We were able to relax and unwind. Such a gorgeous place in the woods. The interior is beautiful and very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen that included a coffee bar and a great assortment of spices for cooking. The owner also left a bottle of wine and some chocolates! I highly recommend this rental.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend for our babymoon. The cottage is aesthetically beautiful and the fireplace and outdoor fire table were great touches to have. The location is perfect to see all of Door County. Would highly recommend!!

We stayed here with my parents who are in their mid seventies. It was the perfect size for the 4 of us. It’s located in a quiet area in the woods, perfect location to reach all the major stops in DC. Very clean and the host provided a lot of little perks…coffee station, emergency toiletries, gift, etc. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay there again!
