"The house met our needs. Floors are unlevel but that didnt bother us. Several boards were actually split and the floor felt weak in those areas. We were unable to turn on the heat in the double bedroom but we just used an extra blanket."

"Our stay in Amish country was nice. The cottage was clean and well decorated, but could use some updating. The location was nice and quiet, as it was not in the center of town. We did have issues with people accidentally trying to get into our room in the middle of the night and the fire alarm going off, very loudly and abruptly waking us a couple hours after we had gone to sleep. We still lived having a space that was just ours, not sharing a building or walls with other people. "

The rental is in a quiet location but near several restaurants/cafes and stores; the description is 100% accurate, it was very comfortable and clean. "We really liked staying at this charming house. Plenty of room for the five of us and the doggie decor was warm and friendly. Getting to the front porch of the house (via GPS) was a bit of a challenge since Google Maps didn't know that there were footpaths leading to it but once we found it all was perfect!"

The steps to the bedroom are very narrow and steep with a difficult landing at the top. Coming down the stairs takes some cautious negotiation as the railing does not go to the top of the stairs.
