"We booked The Lumiares well in advance and so glad we did since top tier Lisbon hotels are hard to get. Though we did not get a high floor unit as requested, street noise was not a problem and our one bedroom apartment was spacious, well laid out and exceedingly clean. The river view from the rooftop restaurant & bar is exceptional especially at sunset. We will definitely return!"

"The apartment itself was ok; great view but a bit run down (shower head was broken) & not as clean as it could be. They are lying about the property being vacant for 48 hours prior as we saw the previous guests check out of our room on the day we arrived. However the worst thing was the check in process. It was a nightmare. We knew it was a remote check in where we would receive a door code but we had no communication leading up to our arrival. On the day of arrival it took hours to even get...

"We had a great stay! AC in both rooms, fresh bread delivered daily to our door, and rooms refreshed each day. We could walk to SO many places (lots of stairs on the way….its Lisbon 😁). Staff were friendly and very helpful. Yes, there was some noise from the busy bar strip down the street, but hardly noticeable with windows and shutters closed at night. We felt safe and had easy access to SO many restaurants, sights and shopping. On/off buses close by too!"

"We filtered our hotel choices by those with parking but when we arrived we were told it was full. We had to scramble for parking. Street parking has a 2 hour limit until 7pm. Scary old elevator for two persons max, scary exposed wiring. Extremely hard double bed in our room, with a twin as well. Small bathroom but at least we had one. Could certainly use a new shower curtain. Dirty old carpets. Adequate breakfast, very Portuguese style. Great location. "
