"The apartment is very clean and well stocked with basic necessities. Gigi was very responsive and kind. There were some pretty noisy neighbors one night but the property felt safe other than that. One downside was the slow Internet as we were trying to work remotely a couple of the days."

"We had a most enjoyable time staying in Lake of the Woods with our accommodative host. The large and spacious rooms had everything we needed and warm, the bed is comfortable. Our host even lent us some snow sleds we could take up to Nordic Base and go sledding. We arrived a little late and we weren’t able to buy groceries, however our host sold us some organic eggs he raises. I will return again for a longer stay"

"This was a fantastic space for the two of us, with an ample deck. It was a bit chilly, so we didn't really spend much time out on the patio, and we were only here for a short stay while visiting friends in Glendale. The only thing to be aware of with this property is the windows: they have regular plastic blinds. Great for privacy, but they're not adequate for blocking out sunlight in the mornings. So if you're looking to sleep in at all, your sleep might be disrupted by the morning light...

"We found this very nice and cozy 1 bedroom accommodated our needs for the 3 days of the CIF Wrestling Championship. Our son was competing, it was a short drive convenient to Mechanics Bank Arena made convenient to go back and forth between matches to get a bit of rest. Highly recommend. Eric and Eiji are wonderful Hosts, made check-in seamlessly"

"This property is not as it is sold. It is not a townhome. It is an old apartment complex that does not feel welcoming or safe at all. The code to get into the property didn't work and when I tried to reach out to the management company for support they were like robots not responding at all to my concerns and request for support/refund. To this day, their "manager" has yet to return my calls."

"This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The whole unit is very clean, beautifully decorated and located in a really safe and nice part of Bakersfield. It has so much offered, from the welcome basket, to the free amenities like coffee and the variety of teas, to the cozy bed, this is seriously one of the best places I’ve stayed in a long while. In addition, the host is really nice and answered all my questions promptly. Book this place, you won’t regret it. "

"Branden and his wife were such great hosts. They promptly answered any questions we had. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable & were very accommodating. "We actually stayed in the poolhouse at the same property. Originally my husband and I had booked for the room but when Barbara saw we were travelling with an infant she offered us the pool house as there was a pack n play in there. It provided us with a little more room and privacy with our infant daughter as we came into town to celebrate Thanksgiving with my husband's family. My only complaint is that there were curtains over the kitchen window to block out the light for the Ring security...
