"Wow!!! What can I say about this cottage that hasn’t been already said. This is by far an absolute hidden gem. They go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant and memorable. From the sweet treats upon arrival to John showing us how the dairy farm works. And we really loved the pups, they greeted us everyday when we got back. The only downfall about this cottage, is having to leave. We are already planning another trip. Thank you so much, Deidre and John!! "

The cottage outside is vintage and inside is refurbished and equipped with every thing you might need for a comfortable stay. Our host, Catherine, was delightful and shared lots of local information. "A wonderful place with brilliant views, surrounded by ample countryside. Gwyneth was the best host one could ask for, very friendly and helpful throughout my stay and indeed for both settling in and heading out. The place was lovely to stay in, featuring every utility you could desire, and felt very welcoming and comfortable as almost a home away from home. My only wish is that I could have stayed longer! For any undecided, The Brown Hen is definitely worth a stay. "

"Plenty of room for our family, and Rosscarbery and its grocery store are very close. We really liked running into Rosscarbery for a quick bite and a pint. Wifi was slow, but it existed, which wasn't the case in one of our other stays. Cute garden, and a nice, quiet space to be."
