"A pleasant stay for one night in the old canal side house. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and the room was interesting with old toys and artefacts. The rooms are at the other side of the canal to the owners house where you eat breakfast. It’s good if you like the canal life and you have many tourist long tail boats passing during the day. Had a large patio and help from the hosts in arranging a taxi."

Pleasant riverside bar (though the live vocal combo was consistently off pitch). Evening dining options were weak and neighborhood seemed isolated. Not sure it gives a visitor a sense of the real pulse of Bangkok, which would be our primary objection"
