I've been staying a few times since 2018 at the Axel... I just feel like they don't do the upkeep of the place. It keeps feeling old and tired. And this time around, I had an issue with my room, Fabio was very nice and helpful with my issue and got my room changed the next day. But other staff at front desk were less than amicable let's say.

If you're going to stay here, know that its primarily LGTB The stay was overall ok. Note: They will charge you for anything you use in the room (including soaps, etc.). You pay an additional tourist fee at check-in ($12 Euro per person). Great location overall. Parking cost about $25 Euros.
