No funcionaba el aire acondicionando, el TV y cuando tomé el teléfono para llamar a recepción, sorpresa: tampoco funcionaba. La persona en recepción alrededor de las 7 pm nos dijo que llamaría al técnico. Regresamos después de las 11 pm y nos estaban esperando en el lobby con un ventilador!! La nueva respuesta fue que la administración del hotel decidió apagar el aire acondicionando por toda la temporada y de invierno y que si uno enciende el aire acondicionando solo sale aire caliente y que por eso me estaba cocinando en la habitación del calor!! Me ha dicho que si quiero un ventilador y que abra la ventana! Me parece una total falta de respeto que el hotel no anunvie esto antes de reservar. El desayuno muy bueno y la localización también buena, pero esa mala experiencia empañó la estancia.

Modern hotel situated in close proximity to Metro links and city centre. Rooms serviced on a daily basis and close to spotlessly clean. Hospitable, helpful and processional reception staff, on hand 24hrs/day. Breakfast staff polite and friendly. All needs attended to. Excellent. Highly recommend.

Great location just a few minutes walk from Las Ramblas. Fabulous staff, very informative behind the front desk. Really nice full breakfast every day. Price was reasonable.

Excellent hotel and service overall. Unusual bathroom layout which was located by the main room windows… just curtained off from bedroom area. No ac, mini fridge, or coffeemaker and also no tv channels on the tv (only a tv monitor to project shows from personal mobile devices). There is WiFi, a small safe and open shelving for clothes. The toilet is at the room entryway which is a nice enclosed room with a door, while the sink and bathroom facilities are on the other side of the bedroom area. The room is comfortable and I had to sleep with the window open since there was no ac. At night it could get noisy with the window open. The lower level of the hotel had a really nice work space, meeting area and breakfast cafe, and there’s a small rooftop pool with seating and a bar on the rooftop terrace.

Average hotel, staff very friendly but have limited resources and forget what you ask for, example I asked for a second pillow, I was told no problem, so I thought great all good and they said they’d put it in the room, but after dinner we came back to no extra pillow, tried again the next day, this time ended up with a pillow, but it was only a half a size pillow, I thought pillows were standard in hotels ? We were also given a dorma room with a spiral staircase, nice and clean but wouldn’t advise it with a couple that are nearly 60 ! We stayed for four nights, first night the Aircon worked perfectly, every other night after that the Aircon was only a heater, we asked for it to be looked at, only to be told the whole hotel had been switched to winter mode so we couldn’t have Aircon, I think that every single person in the hotel was moaning about it because we had to have the windows open and the noise was unbearable. Hotel was in a decent location and the staff were very friendly, they tried their best, but their hands were tied, the place needs a bit of management.

Good location, quiet but close walk to waterfront and downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful. Noticed some noisy construction in the building at times, and thin walls. Baggage storage and cafe downstairs were great.

Overall a very good hotel. The best bits are it’s close to La Rambla (about 10 mins) and the main areas of Barcelona. The room itself is immaculately clean with a great shower and nice bathroom. The room is modern and a reasonable size. As well as this, the dining area is really nice in the basement with a fab breakfast with lots of selection. There is a bar here as well which was quiet when I visited in October. The rooftop is really very nice too with a bar and small pool with chairs and sun loungers. The hotel staff are outstanding by the way! How might it be better? I’d have liked a fridge and some coffee making facilities in the room. Plus some shelves in the bathroom to keep my man stuff on. The view out the back of the hotel isn’t the prettiest looking onto the backs of local houses and accomodation but this is central Barcelona. The view didn’t bother me because I thought it had character. I’d definitely go back to Casa Lit.

Room 111 was small but adequate for 2 adults child. Floor 1 is like a mezzanine level just above the reception / lobby, so you do hear noise from guests coming in and out. The property and room looks modern and is in great condition. However, it did smell like it was mopped with stagnant water bleach but perhaps this is because there isn't much ventilation unless you have the A/C on (which requires a keycard). The shower/bathroom area is just curtained off from the sleeping area. The basin is tiny so you can't help splashing water onto the floor. There are no tea-making facilities in the room, you have to pay €2 to make your own in the lobby. Overall, it was good and I'd stay again as it is just off the Ramblas.
