"I specifically booked this hotel as on the website the restaurant showed that the restaurant was open on a Sunday evening and served lovely fish. I even messaged asking to reserve a table. However, after a long drive, on arrival we were told it was not open which was very disappointing and annoying. "...wenn man aus der Tür tritt! Wunderbare Wege zum Strand von Hattainville und zum Cap (je 20 min Fußweg). Trotz Hochsaison war es eine ruhige Umgebung. Wenn es kühl wird, heizt der sehr gut ziehende Kaminofen schön ein (Lüfter läuft nur, wenn der Stecker eingesteckt ist). Das Dachgeschoss ist dank zwei Dachfenstern auch bei warmen Wetter sehr gut belüftbar - die Matraze dort durch die durchgehenden Federn für zwei Menschen aber etwas unruhig. So musste man in der unteren Toilette den Haupthahn an dem Toilettenwaschbecken abdrehen, weil ansonsten der Wasserhahn in einem durch tropfte; das war den Vermietern bekannt. "An excellent property in a peaceful neighbourhood. As with many properties the photos dont do it justice. Short walk to the beach as this is just off Barneville Plage. Garden spacious so would be good for people with children. Only suggestion and one I would make to almost every property we have stayed at, please some more hanging space in the bedrooms and a 'shelf' in the shower to put soap, shampoo etc."
