"The hotel was set in beautiful grounds As it was Christmas time the gadren were all lit up., also a Christmas fair was on that residents had free access to. Great to pick up Christmas gifts. Hotel was with walking distance of Beamish living museum. Service in the restaurant was very slow especially in bar area where some staff did appear to be standing round talking. However when paying the bill they did apologise for any delays ansd explained they had been exceptionally busy all day...
