The stay at The Peaks of Otter this weekend was incredible! It was really refreshing to see the beauty of God's creation all around. So peaceful, tranquil, and beautiful everywhere I went. The service was spot on, the food was really good, and the people were really friendly. I would recommend The Peaks to anyone!

Property is clean but dated. Dinner was good with reasonable prices. Breakfast was not worth the price. The Holiday Inn Express free breakfast is much better. The orange juice was watered down, the toast was cold, the jelly selection was minimal, the grits were tasted blan, the scrambled eggs were plentiful and the bacon was either over cooked and some under cooked.

The facility itself is beautiful, situated in a simply gorgeous setting. Staff are wonderful, the restaurant is very good, and the rooms were clean and rustic. A wonderful stay that we hope to repeat.

Great place to spend the night to tour the Blue Ridge mts. There is a shuttle to Sharp Top Mt which has magnificent views. Food and service at the lodge was excellent.
