Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff
Stayed one night, on a week long road trip. The room was dated but large and clean. The price you pay to stay reflects this. The lighting was a little dim (no overhead light), but that was our only criticism. Free parking and good wifi. The restaurant downstairs is highly recommended! Staff are excellent.

L'hotel era molto grazioso e il paese altrettanto, e la camera molto confortevole. E' comodissimo per raggiungere il parco HOGE VELUWE con annesso Museo KROLLER-MULLER (consigliatissimi). Purtroppo le "regole della casa" così come il menù del ristorante erano scritti solo in olandese. Del personale, solo una signora parlava un pochino di inglese e, nonostante avessimo espresso desiderio di cenare presso di loro, non ci è stato possibile perchè la cucina chiude alle 20,00. Il WI-FI gratuito funzionava poco e male.

Keurig rustig hotel
Ik had een congres in Orpheus te Apeldoorn en zocht een goedkoop hotelletje in de buurt. Hotel Smittenberg was op 8 km afstand zeer eenvoudig te bereiken en bleek erg aangenaam. Rustig, huiselijk en het ontbijt met vers gebakken broodjes en vers gezette koffie. Prima prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding.
