Even though some of the property was under renovation it didn’t affect our stay, it just makes us want to come back when the suites are complete. The lake view from our room was breathtaking. We very rarely pay and upcharge for a room with a view since we generally just use our hotel room for sleeping. We are so glad we paid for a view. Our room looked out onto Lake Como with the Alps as a backdrop. Spectacular. The hotel is a short 10 minute drive down the hills to Bellagio. If you don't have a car they have a shuttle van that will take you back and forth. The rooms are very comfy and since we visited in February, the heated tile floors were a welcome amenity. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a restaurant on site that offers a buffet breakfast and dinner. The breakfast offerings are varied and the dinners we had were exceptional. We were only in the room for two nights but it was so relaxing and peaceful it felt like a week.

I have stayed at more than 10 locations in Italy over the years and this was by far the best. Not only was the location perfect, but the staff were kind, my room was incredibly relaxing and comfortable, the views are worth booking on their own, their breakfast buffet was also very enjoyable.
