"The clientel of this place is rough. I had not been in my room 5 minutes when I heard people outside yelling the F word at each other more than ten times. Through the night I heard angry shouting matches and one fight. The room was in bad shape. Patches on the wall that had never been painted, a broken light switch, cigarette burns on the furniture, rusty vents in the bathroom, etc. I must say that the linens were clean and the bed and pillows were not bad. "Hampton Inns never disappoints! My husband and I were driving a long distance home over the holidays from visiting family. We needed an overnight stop, but wasn’t sure where that would be so we specifically looked for a Hampton Inn when we were ready to stop. "Firstly this cottage is lovely and is as seen in the pictures. Everything was fine but the only issue is where it’s located. The town of Anderson appears to be trying to rejuvenate but it’s got a ways to go. The house is located within walking distances of restaurants. Unfortunately the house next door is unoccupied and the street could be better but saying that we encountered no issues and were safe. When the town improves, this will be a lovely place to stay."
