Labor Day weekend
The place was very nice - the back enclosed porch was great for family dinners - the kids got a charge out of the little play area - the only negative was the sliding door to the back enclosed porch was very hard to push (rollers are going bad - we had the same problem at our own house & replaced the rollers.)

Very nice cabin and location
Stayed at the Wildflower- 7 total. Cabin was clean and welcoming. Spacious family room, hot tub fit 4 comfortably and enjoyed taking walks around the area. Close to the Brewery Pub and the Treetop restaurant. I would recommend this place and stay there again myself. A few little things to mention. Kitchen was well stocked but no steak knives found. Some extra firewood would’ve been nice. Maybe a few extra kitchen towels would be helpful. These are just suggestions- overall, a great experience!

Loved Every Minute!
Thank you for sharing your lovely home with my family - we absolutely loved every minute of our stay. The themed rooms were comfy, clean and the heat worked great! The hot tub was clean and worked perfectly. I cooked several meals and really appreciated the well stocked and organized kitchen. I noticed that the fridge had an ice maker, but it didnt seem to be working. The great room was cozy and we loved the firewood and the free wood on site. Bathrooms were great, although the shower handle on the bathroom across from the hive room was loose and we couldnt get hot water - the other two showers worked fine so it was no big deal. Thank you again for a wonderful stay - we will definoitely be coming back!

Girls' Weekend in Berkeley Springs at Wildflower
We were 5 women in our 40s having a relaxing girls' weekend in Berkeley Springs. The Wildflower property was fantastic - very clean, spacious and comfortably appointed with lots of beds and plenty of seating. The setting was peaceful and secluded, which was perfect for our aim of weekend of hiking, horseback riding and taking in the waters. There was ample wood in the carport for the entire long weekend and we enjoyed fires in the main living area. Management response was excellent when strong winds knocked out the power on the first night - I received an immediate response even though it was after midnight. The hot tub was great after hiking and horseback riding and the house was really well stocked, including beach towels for the hot tub! Everything was well labeled and all instructions were easy to follow. We were a short easy drive into town, whether to go the Main or Old Roman Bathhouses or one of the great places to eat in town. We all agreed that we would definitely come back to enjoy the Wildflower again. Thank you for a great stay!

TERRIBLE!
This visit was a disaster from start to finish. When we arrived, we immediately noticed a damp, musty smell to the cabin. Looking around, we found mold growing in the downstairs bathrooms. In one of them it was a small amount, but in the other, it was a large, black area on the ceiling with clear signs of water damage all around. The property owners had a dehumidifier set up in the basement, so they apparently knew there was some issue there. The musty smell permeated the house and lasted our whole stay. This was just the first issue. We also found holes in the screened in deck areas which allowed bugs in; drainage from the AC units that weren't attached, allowing water to leak onto the the deck; exposed nails on the deck railing, etc... Also, the main door only had the key code lock on it without a deadbolt or chain, meaning anyone with a code could have entered at any time. We would have left early, but due to some commitments of ours, we had to stay for the planned week. Finally, after we had left, the management company contacted us to charge us a cleaning fee, claiming we left dog poop in the living room! We obviously had not done that. They sent pictures dated several days after we left as their "proof" and apparently wanted us to take their word that no one else had been in the house since we left. The house was moldy and gross and the management company tried to rip us off. AVOID!

Disliked: Communication
It was good
Was a nice place to stay. My boys were obsessed with their room/play area. We were told after 4:00 and arrived at 4:10 ish- they weren’t done cleaning. There was dog poop in the yard when we arrived.. there was no detergent for laundry- which I attempted to call once and email twice with zero Response. Everything else was good, no toaster which my kids eat bagels, the toaster oven took way too long to toast bagels. My daughter’s room did start smelling weird after we got settled, almost like old smoke? But the beds were so comfortable. I personally wouldn’t spend the money we did on this place, but, it was a decent stay.

Awesome Family Trip!
Wow! Everyone in our group LOVED this place! We had a few kids and infants with us and it was just perfect for a family group like ours. I think this place would be a terrific stay at any season and I would definitely book again. Clean, stocked well enough to get you started, and nestled in the coolest little community. We loved the hiking trails, the horseshoe pits, and the pool was lovely. I will definitely keep this one the list for future trips!

Wonderful Family Retreat
The Wild Flower-Themed Retreat was the perfect location for a recent family gathering to celebrate a marriage and get together with family. The bedrooms were just right for my family and the setting overall enabled us to host a gathering of 25 close relatives. I've never seen a kitchen so well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and utensils. Inside and outside dining areas provided plenty of room for us. The hot tub was enjoyed. Also, the big yard outside was so great for a number of yard games and the fire pit was safely used later in the evening. Thank you to Mountainside Getaways for helping secure this location after a major problem booking through VRBO. I won't make that mistake again.

Wildflower house
The house was clean and had all the amenities our family wanted. There were books, puzzles and games for our use which was nice. There were some things that needed fixing in the house. The sliding door downstairs did not lock, The sliding door upstairs leading out to the screened patio also did not lock and the door was very hard to open and close. The dishwasher door squeaked very loudly. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and glasses. I think some of the pots could be replaced. Water pressure poor when taking a shower. The playset outside was nice but is showing need of updating. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit one evening. We would come back to this house if we come back to Berkeley springs.

Decent vacation house
It was a fine place to stay but ultimately I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it to others, as the issues I experienced were too numerous. The window AC units were not enough to keep the house cool in July and all the filters were dirty so they caused respiratory issues for the guests when they were turned on. The ceiling fans were helpful but at least one of them was wobbling way too much for our comfort to use at any decent speed. Hot tub was great. TV in the living is the size of an average computer monitor so not worth turning on at all. Overall it needed a lot of basic, general maintenance, and some deep cleaning (the rugs were in desperate need of a shampoo). I sent a detailed list of all the things that went wrong via direct message.

Very Spacious
The house in a beautiful mountainside resort. It was more spacious than I though especially the downstairs. House was dated but clean and quaint. The kitchen A++ equipped was everything you could possibly need. Trouble with hot tub but mountainside getaway sent someone to fix it. My husband found the hose to fill up the tub more. The community pool was awesome. Unfortunately had some party groups there but they were eventually kicked out. All in all it was a great place to stay I would recommend to large family groups. Just one thing please have house keepers vacuum out all spiders on the screened in porches before a new guests come in.

Loved Our Stay; would definitely return
We absolutely loved our stay especially the screened in porch on the upper level. You know a place is good when you discuss a return while there. The hot tub and whole place was clean and set up nicely. There was a minor issue caused by prior guest upon check-in so we did end up chatting with staff and both were quite friendly - the issue was minor to us so there was no real urgency/impact on our stay.

Perfect Cozy Cabin
We absolutely loved our time in this well stocked cabin. We enjoyed a girls weekend here. All the girls commented on how clean it was, we are girls so we notice the little details. The décor was pleasant and the beds were very comfortable. There was both drip & Keurig coffee makers in the kitchen. There was plenty of firewood for the fireplace and extra blankets in every room. It went into single digits while we were there in January and everyone was warm in the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked. The hot tub was big enough for 4 people to be spread out with room for more. There was an added bonus to going in the winter. You can see the river from the living room. If the trees had leaves on them you would not be able to catch the same view as in the winter. I would recommend this cabin.

Perfect stress free winter retreat
We stayed in January and it was a perfect cozy getaway for the 5 of us. This cabin is very well stocked with plenty of towels, blankets, firewood, and kitchen items. There was both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig. The hot tub was big enough for all 5 of us to have plenty of room. An additional bonus in the winter is the view from the living room is of the river below. The trees leaves would obscure this view in the summer. It's a nice winter extra. The beds were very comfortable and the furnishings were very nice. We found it to be very clean. With 5 women we were critical of this and everyone commented on how clean it was. I would recommend this cabin and I would stay here again.

Cabin Crew 2021
We loved this property! We do an annual “friends” trip to Berkeley Springs, this was our first time staying at Wildflower, and we all agreed we want to stay there again. We loved it! Very spacious, beautiful scenery, thoughtful touches, and the “communal” areas were large enough for us all to hang out and be comfortable. Communication prior was great, too. Thank you!!!

Quick get away with friends
A small group of us take an annual short trip to either the beach or mountains. We chose Berkeley Springs and were not disappointed. The house is well furnished and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware etc. probably the most well stocked kitchen I have ever had at a rental! It was easy to get my handicapped husband in my only caveat is the shower in the first floor bedroom (all other bedrooms and 2 additional bathrooms are downstairs) could use a few handicapped rails to ease stepping up into the shower. In other words the accessibility of the main floor bathroom is limited to those who can still step up into a shower stall. But I made it work for my husband and we all had a great time. This would be a great place for families with kids too. We may be back if we come to Berkeley Springs again. We had a maintenance issue with the front door and when we called they were over to fix it the same day.
