"This was the perfect place to stay right off the slopes of Big Bear Mountain! It was nice that the kids could walk out back and immediately hit the slopes and we could watch them whizz by from the back patio and even the warmth of the couch! The local property manager was so helpful upon our (early) arrival having the newly fallen snow removed right away from the driveway and walkway! We can't wait to go back!"

"Mario was such a great host and made everything so simple. The condo was so beautiful and is 15 minutes to bear mountain. It had everything we needed. The board rental across the street for easy pickup and drop off. Jacuzzi was warm and clean!"

"The location of the property was great. Giving us access to Boulder Bay, which is just walking distance around the corner. The unit was clean, however when we came in the strong odor of the cleaning product was bad. We ended up having to open up the windows to air it out. We also had difficulty with the smoke alarm going off repeatedly when we had the oven on. "Bigger and more well-appointed than expected! A few small hiccups were addressed quickly by management (listing initially said that one of the bedroom had 2 twins, which turned out to be a queen). Convenient to slopes at Bear Mountain, but too far to walk to the lifts for our 5 year-old, especially with gear. The area behind the unit was perfect for playing in the snow. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return!"

"There’s plenty of paces to sleep. But 4 of the beds are twins, so I would not recommend those beds for adult males. The master has a king bed, and there is also a pullout upstairs. The kitchen desperately needs new pots and pans. Most of them I wouldn’t trust to cook in. The location is great."

My younger daughter could watch the skiers through the sliding glass door in the living room which was really fun. Plenty of space and clean. "We had a great stay at Barefoot By the Bay. The cabin was roomy and comfortable and super close to everything we wanted to do it Big Bear. The only complaint was that parking seemed a bit unorganized, our neighbors seemed to have many cars and took our spots that were designated to us."

"The property was located 1.5 miles from the Village. Easy check in process. Property is in a quiet area. The property had a few broken items one of which we were informed on our way up to the property. It was missing the keys to the hot tub so we had no access. The balcony could use a little organizing/sweeping to be utilized a little better. Overall the description of what is available and what is needed is completely accurate. Thanks for our stay we had a great New Year!"
