"It's a truly unique location... being cut off by the tide twice a day on your own island. It's stunning. The attention to Art Deco is remarkable. It was spotlessly clean. The service is relaxed not over the top. The food was really good, not superb and perhaps not quite worth the price, but I get that you're paying for the location as much as anything. Love that the rooms don't have TVs to be authentic to the period. It's fun having the 4x4 transfer over the beach or the sea tractor through the waves. We'd go back again. It was really special for our anniversary"

Very walkable from the train station and then easy access to The Box museum, shopping and dining options in The Barbican and surrounding neighbourhoods."
