Ideal hotel for the night before a flight. Very close to the airport and airport car parks. Nice, reasonably priced food in the restaurant. Bedrooms are small but to be expected with the price.

Staff were helpful but room was extremly basic and you have to pay to be dropped off, £5 in car park or £100 fine outside hotel.

Checked in online prior to our 03.30 am arrival. Key wasn’t ready & check in took 15 mins. Next morning tea & coffee facilities on the 1st floor was trashed with no stock. Had to get a staff member to replenish. We were on the 8th floor which meant the tea was cold after waiting for the lift & going from floor 1 to 8. Why not have tea & coffee on all floors & someone to check them!

If you have a very early flight the following day or get in super late from a flight, this hotel is ideal to shower and sleep. The staff are lovely but it’s a budget property so is exactly what its processes to be. That said, the shower is great, the bed comfy but light sleepers may struggle as it’s a busy place.

Excellent location within a 2 min walk of the airport and shuttle to NEC and trains into Birmingham. Friendly helpful staff and nice communal areas to sit and work. My room was a bit spartan with vinyl floor, plastic chair and no tea/coffee facility in the room but it was warm, clean, quiet and comfortable for a good night's sleep.

Marks on bed sheets. Bed uncomfortable, beds not made properly. Room had recently been painted and the smell of the paint was overpowering. Had to open window because of the smell. Then could not sleep due to car horns constant, train noise. Was even on 7th floor. Was sold a pint of beer when only a half was requested. Will not be staying here ever again. My asthma was made worse because of the smell of paint and I also suffered with a headache and have suffered with a bad back because of the mattress.

Excellent hotel and location. Small rooms but everything available and ideal to stay for an early morning flight. Short walk to departures and if arriving by train the shuttle is great. Staff all helpful and friendly. Good food at reasonable prices, served quickly. Would stay again and fully recommend.
