"We rented both homes for a group of 18 and they were convenient for a large group and was fun we could be together but I'd say they were only"ok for the prices we paid." Keep your expectations in line ... they definitely need work. The houses need touch up paint, furniture is dirty, the houses are cheaply made, beds are creaky, bedding is average. Note to bring your own toilet paper (odd). However, the communication with our host was great - she was attentive to helping us get more pillows +...

"The pictures on the listing are what drew us to this beautiful secluded cottage and we were not disappointed! We enjoyed the quiet seclusion and breathtaking views. We enjoyed a scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway for more mountain views and stopped for good food at My Father's Pizza, (We ate there more than once). And we enjoyed a visit from a small black bear. We had a good view of her from our dining room window. We highly recommend the Morning Glory Cottage! "

"The place was walking distance to cute town… restaurants, bars and shops and golfing, hiking and lake! House had nice finishes. The owner made the most out of the “petite” space. "

"We love this little cabin. It's a must visit for us every fall. The view is gorgeous and the cabin has everything we want or need. It's clean, private, well-equipped and close to downtown. Black Mountain is a charming town and worth a visit. Our favorite restaurant is Black Mountain Bistro. Please patronize these small businesses. You won't be disappointed. They are still recovering from Hurricane Helene."

"Great little house smack between downtown Black Mountain and Montreat. Easy stay and good communication with rental management company. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable, thoughtful house with a nice little front porch. The back room add on to the house was a nice space, but an unusual room. There were no blinds or window treatments, so you and neighbors could mutually see each other at night and sun reflected on TV during the day. The walls are unfinished wood, so you may get a splinter...

"Our family spent a wonderful weekend at this cottage in Black Mountain. Three great bedrooms, a fully appointed kitchen, a comfortable living area, a nice dining room, a cozy front porch, and room to park two SUVs. Everything was sparkling clean! We would definitely stay there again."
