Our stay was very enjoyable and situated in a great place to see the Christmas illuminations. All staff were really friendly and polite and everything was very well organised. The food and dining area was perfect and the entertainment in the evenings was fantastic. Very convenient parking. Overall fantastic stay but if I had to find one very small and petty negative it would be the bathroom needed a blind , however 10 out of 10 and we will be returning.

We have stated at the Doric on a few occasions and as a family of 4 (kids 10&8) we find it fits our needs well. Staff are always friendly,food enjoyable and served well and the added bonus of the pool and evening entertainment which we always enjoy. We will be back there again in the future I'm sure.

An enjoyable stay overall. Positives:Meal on the evening was very good and the hotel has been nicely refurbished downstairs. Hotel is in a nice location and we got parked on the side street next to the hotel. Negatives: Our room was too hot making it difficult to sleep. The coffee cups at breakfast on our table hadn’t been cleaned properly.

Friendly staff, families with children get the best deal . Children running round unsupervised were a hazard. The one lift was very slow. We were on the fourth floor and stairs were difficult with worn carpets. Flooring to rooms was creaky and walls thin between rooms causing ability to hear talking in next room. Bed was a small double which was very uncomfortable. Disappointed with so called “sea view “ Air con required in dining/ entertainment room. Food was very good.

This Hotel is down the quieter part of Blackpool, convenient for trams/buses providing easy access to nearby towns and Blackpool Central for shows and events,including the illuminations

Excellent value for money Only negative is parking although there is parking opposite in a pay & display car park at the back of the sports bar Might be an idea for them to let guest know this especially as the machine isn't working and you have to go into the club and give them your registration number £7 for 24 hours which isn't a bad price

The staff were amazing a massive thankyou to the Kitchen staff , my son is a very fussy eater every breakfast/ evening meal they prepared a meal separately for my son. Decent property but two points to note, we stayed 3 nights Tuesday to Thursday, on the last night a gang of new guests arrived, lots of noise, kids running around room corridors around 1am, rooms around TV blasting until 1am could hear everything. Hotel takes £50 per night damage deposit. For 3nights £150. A bit over the top. Given the current economic situation, school holidays, 4 days after my stay I am still awaiting the refund at the time of writing!
