Nestled next to National Forest...... yet 10 minutes To Town

This gorgeous three story Blue Ridge TREEHOUSE we call "INN THE RAVINE" is located in the ASKA ADVENTURE AREA and is unlike any property you’ve ever seen. Meticulous architectural and designer details abound in this 750 sf property with decks from every view. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION….This Treehouse is perfectly perched on 4 private acres overlooking National Forest with direct hiking access to the Benton MacKaye Trail right outside your door. Next to you is our other Treehouse call Canopy Blue (in case you'd like to share the experience) Inn The Ravine Treehouse is secluded and private with an easy 10 minute drive to Historic Downtown Blue Ridge. Please note that the last 1/4 mile of the dirt/gravel road, can get very bumpy and rutty at times. Low profile vehicles not recommended; however, four wheel drive not necessary either.

To enter Inn The Ravine Treehouse, you will use the long ramp access from parking area (no steps here). Be sure to take notice of the trees used as support for the structure and those growing through the decks and the rooftop porches. Once you enter the treehouse, you will find a cozy, upscale living space with high ceilings and creative elements enhancing your Treehouse experience. The interior details create an outdoor feel, but the furnishings and bedding remind you this treehouse truly is VACATION LIVING TAKEN TO A NEW LEVEL.

At first you may be excited to rush up the creative wood stairs and enjoy the beautiful views from large plate glass windows, or want to lie down on the one of a kind, queen, hanging bed in the loft. But then you'll notice the outdoor patio with tree and bar area built in for your afternoon snacks and drinks, or even a nice quiet cup of coffee overlooking the deep ravine, and want to plant yourself right there. Back inside the loft area, overlooking the Mountain Laurel railing, you'll be excited to get back to the main level and try out the window seat with soaring "A" framed ceiling of glass windows. When you lay back, you'll notice the sky lights framing the sky, and look forward to a starry night.

On the main entry floor of this particular treehouse is an open concept California King bedroom, with door to outside patio. Two closets, a large viewing window with one of the larger trees incorporated, and a flat screen TV (Streaming and DVD) shared with living area help make your experience more than comfortable. You'll love the bath with stand up glass and tile enclosed double headed rain shower, with seat. Also, the living area has a small sofa and built in table...... all facing flat screen TV and DVD, as well as screened porch with gas stone fireplace. Additional enjoyments include a coffee bar and kitchen area. The living room loveseat, built in booth table, rustic daybed, and outdoor patio allow for a unique and cozy space to be opened up and shared by loved ones, allowing ease of conversing. Open the french doors and widen your space, bringing the outside feel right in with screened porch and fireplace. Sit in any of these areas and enjoy your time together.

As for Treehouse cooking, Inn The Ravine's kitchen includes a medium size stainless refrigerator/freezer, stainless convection microwave, and 2 electric glass top burners. (There is no dishwasher or traditional oven) Also provided is a crock pot, coffee pot, blender, waffle maker, toaster, and essential pots and pans. To enhance your treehouse experience, your cooking can be on the new gas grill located just outside the front door on the 1000 square foot deck wrapping the treehouse, or even at the fire pit located just off of the deck. Guests can also enjoy views of those at the fire pit or in the sunken hot tub while sitting undercover at the unique Bar Stump table, made from trees in the area. This great design allows all to be together. Or, get some privacy in the suspended second level balcony, or in the screened in porch with fireplace.

Inn The Ravine allows you to unplug from the city and spend quality time together. The only downside to this place is that you won't want to leave. Need internet, not to worry as it is provided.

Please note that this treehouse is facing National Forest and the last 1/4 of a mile is up a dirt road that can get quite bumpy. Low profile vehicles not recommended.

Security Camera in place at all properties.

Check out Canopy Blue Treehouse at vrbo/836640 if Inn The Ravine is unavailable. Contact us to book both treehouses at the same time.

Couples Getaway
We spent a wonderful couple of nights with friends at this spectacular tree house. It was a little rainy and chilly while we were there but the tree house stayed warm and cozy. It was easy to make a few meals in the kitchen and with the gas grill. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Peace, Rest & Relaxation
My husband and I recently celebrated our 24th Wedding Anniversary in the tree house and it was absolutely stunning. It was very peaceful and relaxing. My only suggestion is to scrub down the grates and burner covers on the outside grill as the grill would not light and it had a lot of wear. We did not contact the owner as it wasn’t that big of deal and drove into town for some fantastic food. We slept in, enjoyed the screened in fire place, watched deer and squirrel and had a very relaxing, peaceful weekend. Would definitely come back!

The Ritz Carlton of Tree Houses
Annual sister fall foliage trip brought us to Chattanooga where we stayed at our very first treehouse experience. Loved it and couldn’t imagine anything better. Then we arrived at Inn The Ravine where we were upgraded in every aspect. Morning and evening temperatures found us In the screened in porch warming by the gas fireplace. The hot tub was so inviting but didn’t fit our schedule. Yes the road was a bit bumpy but no issue for our rental car. Blue Ridge is close and a town full of restaurants and entertainment. So it’s perfect for solitude or touring the area. The owners were fast to respond to any question. Like those who stayed before we highly recommend this beautiful, peaceful treehouse.

Amazing family stay!
This treehouse is so amazing! Even more stunning in person. The host was very easy to communicate with when had questions before going. The home is so cozy and peaceful. We loved everything about it! Only thing I would recommend is don’t park close to the firepit underneath big trees as it drops acorns and will dent the hood 🙃 we would def stay again! Great VRBO!

Beautiful and Quaint!
I must say that I absolutely loved this tree house from the minute we pulled up. I also feel that absolutely no expense was spared when the owners had this place built and decorated. Alot of cabins etc will just have random dishes and outdoor chairs etc. But everything was extremely high quality and comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. We had some visitors that were huge black and hairy lol. Seeing the bears so close was a little scary but awesome. We got some great photos and videos. My only complaint is they had a huge issue with fruit type flies. They were absolutely everywhere. The shower door. The bathroom mirror. My laptop screen stayed covered in them. It wasn't just a few either. They seem to have quite the manifestation of them. Even with zero food out. They also have an issue with massive fleas outside. We couldn't tell if it was coming from the rug by the hot tub that needs to be cleaned but we were utterly eaten alive by them. Other than that the stay was magical and the place is absolutely adorable.

LOVED our time at this tree house! Beautiful setting and house is well designed to make the most of it. We could not find trails in walking distance like the description said - but we found several beautiful trails within short driving distance. Seriously, we are already talking about when we can go back!

Awesome
Not your average treehouse. A lot of thought went into the construction of this treehouse. Every piece of furniture, the layout, and small details were well thought out. We had a wonderful time with another couple that we have been friends with since childhood (we are all senior citizens). Would definitely recommend this to other.

Relaxing family birthday weekend at the Inn the Ravine Treehouse
We had a wonderfully relaxing family birthday weekend at the Inn the Ravine Treehouse. Nestled in a secluded and quiet location within the wooded mountains of Blue Ridge, the treehouse offered everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The fully-equipped kitchen, complete with a variety of kitchenware, made meal prep a breeze. We also enjoyed grilling out on the deck and relaxing in the hot tub under the starlit sky. The craftsmanship of the treehouse was truly amazing, with so many unique details that made it feel special. We enjoyed watching the breathtaking sunsets from the deck and were lucky enough to see several deer wander through the property. The location was perfect - close enough to enjoy the shops, restaurants, and hiking trails in Blue Ridge, yet secluded enough to feel completely surrounded by nature.

Anniversary Trip
My husband and I have a blended family and we took a trip here for the weekend of our very first anniversary. Our children loved the location and enjoyed Bigfoot hunting. We roasted s’mores on the outdoor fire pit. And we also enjoyed the hot tub! I can’t wait to book our next trip here again.
