It's far enough from the main bustle to give you a peaceful sleep but close enough to walk to Notre Dam, the shops and cafes of the old town just across the river. The staff is very helpful and kind and the bed was superbly comfortable; we just felt very relaxed there! The room was a bit small (big for Paris!) and warm so it would have been nice to be able to open the window for some fresh air to the bedroom, fortunately the bathroom window...

"Beautiful hotel in a great area. Rooms are charming and comfortable. One negative incident did impact my opinion though: I was woken up at 11 PM to a stranger opening the door to my room, because the receptionist mistakenly gave them my room when they checked in. Hard to sleep after that, and there are no locks on the door to prevent such an incident from occurring. "
