"Stunning scenery and views as soon as you enter the estate and a warm welcome from reception. Room looked lovely, although a few more comforts needed. Better pillows, more toiletries, and the courtyard lighting made it hard to sleep as only had blinds (not blackouts) and no curtains. We stayed 2 nights and had no room service on the second day, so no replaced toiletries, coffee or towels (nothing major but their book said daily service). Lovely big bath. Bed was comfy. "The hotel is pristine and beautiful. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. However, our room was absolutely freezing. The radiator in room 1 was horrible. During the day when I took a nap before a 4 hour tasting menu, I had to sleep fully clothed with my wool scarf/hat and coat on. It was incredibly frustrating but a staff member bled our radiator so it was warmer when we got back to the hotel around midnight. My friends enjoyed the breakfast. "
