"This was by far the best room we stayed in during our entire Scotland trip! It's a bit far and difficult to access Edinburgh if you don't have a car, we went to a car park half way there, and ubered into town. (I don't like driving in downtown Edinburgh, the pedestrians are crazy!) The restaurant is best for breakfast. It was calm and quiet. But the stairs! No elevator, so beware! "

"We’ve had a couple of trips here now with the family :) Positives: it’s beautiful, the have big family rooms, we love the pool, the breakfast is fantastic and the breakfast room is really lovely Negatives: it’s an absolute maze. "Very clean room with large bathroom but no bath tub. The room temperature could be on the low side in the winter. But overall very nicely decorated room and nice amenities. "Lovely modern hotel. Nice bar and restaurant. We weren't very hungry when we arrived but wanted something to eat. The selection of sandwiches was good and the ones we had were very tasty. Good selection of food at breakfast. Hotel was approx 35-40 minutes from the centre of Edinburgh, with a few things to look at along the way. There are bus stops nearby, but we choose to walk. "I loved everything about this place! The staff was excellent, the onsite restaurant was superb, and it was really close to the airport. Getting to the city activities took 30 minutes, but I'd take the peace and quiet here over being in the middle of everything, anytime. My only regret is that I didn’t get to take advantage of the Spa services. I plan to go back to Scotland next year and I will be staying at Norton House. "
