"Amazing location! Close to the city centre and York is already a very walkable city. Close to railway station, close to the walls, close to York Minster. Our unit had a lot of space and it felt more like an Inn than a Bed & Breakfast. Breakfast was very good and we were impressed with the options available. Staff were friendly and if i was driving, there was plenty of parking. "

"We had 4 nights in the Bootham house at the end of August and loved our stay. They house is in a brilliant location with everything we wanted to do within a 15 min walk. The house is clean and comfortable, and the bedrooms were really comfy, quiet and dark. The open plan living and kitchen space was bigger than the photos look. Because it's an old house it's a little gloomy, but it didn't bother us at all. A great house that we'd definitely book again. "

"Lovely property - comfortable, nice decor, clean and very well equipped. The VRBO description of bathrooms is not accurate though - it says that there are 2 bathrooms with a shower only (one en suite on ground floor, one family bathroom on first floor) plus a separate toilet. The main bathroom has a shower and bath but no toilet ie property has 2 toilets and not 3. Not a problem for our party of 4 but might be a bit of an issue if there were 8 people staying."
