"We really loved the peaceful setting of the cabin. It felt so spacious for our group of two! The views were wonderful especially the glacier in the distance. It is definitely quite a ride into town so we were glad to have brought food to cook there. It was a great spot to access the Snaefellsnes peninsula which we did in one day. Convenience to store while being far enogh away from others allowed us to observe an unforgettable show of the aurora. "We had a great stay even though the floor hadn't been swept at all. I found a broom and swept it. When getting ready to leave (after two nights) looked under the bed and hadn't been swept there either.
