These cabins are very remote! Its a long drive along a gravel road that has some significant pot holes. We had a 4x4 so managed fine but did take it easy.
Owners emailed a property pack over which was super detailed including how to access the property, how to locate to, facilities provided in it etc.
The reception areas were large and well furnished. Bedrooms tiny but comfortable enough. We struggle with any kind of decent flow from the shower but able to put that into perspective given location.
The things that could be better include the cleanliness. There were so many crumbs on floor, dining table etc from before us. The have a cleaner service the properties between stays but i suspect this is focused on linen changes mostly and general cleaning is left to guests.
The property pack warns nothing is provided in terms of tea and coffee. Given the remoteness this feels a bit mean. All other self catering places we stayed at included these basics. In reality, these things were there but probably as a result of previous guests.
Guests are expected to strip linen before they leave etc. Again, not unusual but not upfront with it either. The set of guest rules for this place is lengthy and only shared once your booking date is close. The least relaxed of all the self catering places we stayed at and with the earliest check out time. Appreciate they explain why that is, but still an inconvenience ultimately.
Shared garden with cabin 2 - worth noting if you expect privacy
