"Peaceful place. Only comment would be not to overrun the hotel with dogs. I have a dog and love dogs but I don’t like staying in hotel rooms that have had dogs at an and next to rooms with dogs. "We had a lovely 3 night stay at the Remont Hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a clean and comfortable family room with a double bed and a single and an en-suite. We were on the top floor and there are no lifts so something to be mindful of when booking. Not a problem for us though. The overall cleanliness was good. Some parts of the room need a bit of tlc due to wear and tear but nothing that put us off our stay. Breakfast was definitely a highlight. Hot buffet and cold options...

"I really liked the big fluffy towels and the room was large and had a proper kettle as well as coffee maker. Staff were all really helpful especially in reception with directions as my sat nav had packed up. Being on the high street meant that it was convenient for parking too"
