"We have been to The Cotswolds many times, but this is the first time staying at the Prince of Burford. We were made very welcome from the beginning and was even offered a complimentary drink on arrival, which you don’t get in all hotels. Room was lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. Food was outstanding and the staff very attentive, friendly; all members of staff went above and beyond even though they were short staffed and busy. Special thanks to Jake, who served us dinner one evening, for his friendliness, advice on food choices and exceptional service. Many thanks to the Manager Chris and his wife for also making our stay one to remember. "We stayed for 2 nights for a special birthday. The communications beforehand were informative and friendly. When we arrived the welcome was warm and the property was lovely. It was exactly as described as well as being clean and well equipped. The outside space was also excellent with a good sized, enclosed and safe garden. We also asked for a dinner on one night and a full English breakfast on our last morning. Both meals were excellent, well cooked with generous portions. I highly recommend this property for a short or long stay at any time of year."

"We stayed as a relatively young couple for our first trip to the Cotswolds. The inn was lovely and cosy, particularly with the fire in the pub area of the inn. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was delicious, as was the food each morning for breakfast. The breakfast food was plentiful with enough options. Our room was warm and cosy. It was dated but it fits in with the feel of the inn. We did have a room overlooking the main road and it was noisy at peak times but it did quiet down throughout the night. As the inn is an old building you can hear noise from upstairs and other rooms but guests were generally considerate. Overall we had a lovely stay - the inn was in prime location for travelling to some of the main touristy areas within the Cotswolds. The staff were all lovely and attentive and we would recommend a visit to the Inn. We would definitely return. "

"Amazing stay in a quiet little village about 20 minutes drive from Oxford, Burton on the water. 5 minute drive from Burford which is amazing and 5 minutes from Diddly Sqt. Farm and pub. The Swan pub opposite is so cosy. "

"Such a wonderful inn! The town of Burford is a great home base for visiting The Cotswolds. There are coffee shops, bakeries, local stores, antiques, a cute candy shop, a beautiful church and the hotel is a few minutes walk to all of that. The hospitality of the staff was outstanding. The stay comes with breakfast that was delicious and they also serve lunch, dinner, and drinks on the first floor in the restaurant. We stayed down there till 11 pm each night chatting and playing cards like the locals. "
