"upon arrival Christina was very pleasant and helpful checking us in, we later returned to reception to book breakfast, this is time we were dealt with by Charmain, who was also pleasant and helpful. The Room was clean and comfortable for the 3 of us, we used the pool twice, which was a nice treat to have this downstairs , this too was clean and appeared to be well maintained. Overall a good experience all round, will book again if we need to stay in the area again"

"Brilliant!! We had a lovely time staying here with my family on our Easter Holiday. Breakfast was nice and fresh. The outdoor park was also a bonus for my young child to play. Good location to go to Cotsworld and Legoland Windsors. "

"We had a lovely experience at this hard-to-fault country house hotel. Noticeably, nothing looked, worn, old or tired. We slept in Room 10 which overlooks the garden and which, going by the fire safety plan on the back of the door, looks to be the largest room on the 1st floor and yes, it's big! Very comfortable 6-foot bed (proper ‘king size') and nice to have a central ceiling light as well as wall and side-table lamps. The bathroom was not huge but adequate, with a large walk-in shower cubicle, ample water pressure and good towels. The public areas, especially the bar area, we found understated, so not especially welcoming, but this was more than offset by the high standard of service from the front of house staff. A special mention for Dan behind the bar who, whilst young, has the right attitude. A good number of tables and chairs outside for al-fresco drinks and meals in the well-kept lawned garden. We chose to eat a light meal in the bar and thought the food was well prepared and good value. Likewise breakfast. The Cotswold (full English) was perfectly cooked and nicely presented. The bacon in particular was thickly sliced and seemed not to have shrunk in cooking. The spread of self-service items was varied and well displayed on a huge table. Altogether a lovely stay; we have every intention of going back"

"I don’t think we have ever been to such a good hotel for dogs. How lovely to have a comfortable and plush separate dining room to enjoy food with the dogs. How lovely to have the big garden so accessible and what a beautiful hotel. I would recommend it to anyone. I would just like to comment about breakfast. The first morning. Chose a selection for English breakfast. But just because you don’t want tomato and mushroom and hash brown for example, shouldn’t mean that you only get half a plate of food. If you only ask for sausage and beans and Egg then surely give two sausages and a bit more egg. My daughter was hungry after that breakfast. The plates are cold and the brekkie Luke warm. The second morning they gave our tea and coffee to another table and we had to wait ages. The food order came out wrong and there were many people complaining - missing food - forgotten food. The continental breakfast buffet was not replenished once used and there were still guests coming in. The fact that there were 170 guests is no excuse for a seamless breakfast. A hotel breakfast is the mark of a hotel. The drinks are very expensive which is a shame but from a constructive perspective I hope that you take a fresh look at the breakfast experience "

"I chose this hotel as it looked nice and we wanted to stay in the Cotswolds and it's an area we'd never been to before. What a fantastic choice! The hotel is immaculate inside and out, the staff are all friendly and welcoming and the food is really really good. It's very tastefully decorated, very clean and good condition everywhere. The hotel is in a fabulous location and its honestly just fantastic. We cannot wait to come back 🙌 "

"A great base for a weekend stay in Cirencester. The hotel is in the middle of town so a great location to explore the town & surrounding areas. The hotel is lovely & rooms well equipped & very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding, a great selection of options on offer, everything was delicious. Would stay again if visiting this area. "
