Very positive experience staying the one night ..The staff were very efficient and polite. In particular the Romanian young man on reception who kindly ordered a capuchino coffee for me as I have loss of appetite due to having cancer..

This hotel has the perfect location, we have stayed twice and would recommend The rooms are older and could maybe do with a freshen up but does not hinder your stay at all The only downside I had was there were no plug sockets next to bed for a phone but in the grand scale easy to live with it

What attracted me to this hotel was its location and the fact that it has been a hotel for hundreds of years. It didn’t disappoint. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were small, but comfortable and clean. It was close to the Royal Pavilion, which was reason for the visit, but we also enjoyed walking through the Lanes nearby. And being across the street from the ocean front was great.

Excellent location and friendly and helpful staff. However, hotel needs maintenance, the bathroom was aged, rickety and signs of mould. The carpet was thread bare in parts. But bed comfortable.

The breakfast was served on cold plates,the food other than the sausages was cold and poor quality,we weren’t told that there was a charge to park the car,the keys were taken off of us so the car wouldn’t be covered by the insurance company.The room was a two star rating and not suitable for a disabled person

A historic hotel, but needs some work done understably, reall could do with clean windows after paying a premium for sea front view. Otherwise we really enjoyed visiting here again.

I have stayed at the ship quite a few times and felt this time. The place was very tired and could do with a thorough clean. The bed was comfortable, and the room was adequate for our needs - Just basically sleeping there and getting ready Some of the breakfast products weren’t the best, And felt it had gone downhill in the last year since last staying ! Such a shame for a seafront property
