"Lovelly stay"

"We stayed in the hotel, as we held our joint 50th party there. We stayed in a standard double room and found it to be clean and comfortable, and perfect for our needs. The breakfast was delicious, with a good amount of choice. All of the staff were professional and friendly. "

"I stayed one night for work and found the hotel online by chance. I arrived late, after 11pm, and had a warm wrlcome. Nothing was too much trouble and I appreciated the late bar. The finish is excellent as the hotel has recently been refurbished. My room was a single but very attractively furnished with a lovely view over delightful grounds and pristine en suite. Highly recommended. "

"Went for the weekend with my husband. Great location, B&B was clean well presented, breakfasts were great. Barry looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. Only think i would say is all the bedrooms are located upstairs so be prepared. Will definitely be going back, maybe in the summer. "

"The hotel doesn't look much from the outside but inside the grand high ceilings and decoration are fabulous. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our room a deluxe sea view was fantastic (Rm 124) with a balcony and a view of Torbay, even from your bed. The decoration was a little tired but the room amenities were good, including separate dressing room. A small fridge would have been a nice edition though. Also we accept it is an old building but the lack of power sockets by the bedside tables was a little issue, also no USB sockets. The Spa was a little disappointing as the Steam Room was not working and Saunas are segregated but we enjoyed a lovely swim never the less. The breakfast was a fantastic choice with continental and a hot selection although if you arrived later some of the more exotic choices did not get re-filled which was a shame but the service was brilliant. Highly recommended and well worth the price with a great location only 5 mins walk from town. We will definitely be back."

"The Royal Seven Stars just oozes history and character. It is just delightful and located right in the middle of the glorious town of Totnes. The staff are all warm, friendly and helpful. We had a lovely dinner with the extra treat of excellent live music. Great atmosphere in the bar, obviously popular with visitors and locals alike. Our room was really comfortable. We had searched for somewhere doggy friendly, but did expect so many facilities in the room just for our little dog. She was really spoilt, thank you."

"It’s a beautiful hotel, conveniently located near the beach as well as a short distance to the train station. The room was furnished well, updated bathroom and a balcony with a nice view of the grounds (which are really well maintained and spacious). Very dog friendly, they even allowed dogs in the dining room."
