"Cannot say enough good things about this little cottage. It’s excellently located to all the best attractions in Kerry, and it’s perfectly situated in the country but close enough to Castleisland to make getting groceries and going to the local pub easy. The caretaker, Timmy, built a fire for us twice and a local man gave my Dad an autographed book of his own poetry. Absolutely perfect accommodation for a family trip."

"My husband and I used this as our base for exploring Southern Ireland and it was perfect. The hosts were super sweet and a pleasure to talk with. They even helped us figure out our charging converters, called up to one of the local spots for us to get dinner and offered plenty of suggestions that ended up being some of our favorite visits. "This was an awful experience. The owner never communicated, never sent any information, never gave us check-in information, so we were left stranded in Ireland with no place to stay and had to scramble to find last-minute accommodations. Vrbo customer service was also terrible, as they didn't respond and offered no help. We're still awaiting a refund or any response. Avoid, avoid, avoid."

"My husband and I enjoy quiet properties with good opportunities for walks. Having stores and a great restaurant within walking distance is even better. This property had all that and more. Views on all sides, quiet and so comfortable. Theresa is a great host... It took us no time to feel right at home. Be sure to visit The Stand for a tasty meal and entertainment.
