"We stayed overnight with friends in another room. Enjoyed a meal in the restaurant which was nice. Breakfast was also very enjoyable. Bar closed at 10pm although signage indicated it would be open till 11 it wasn’t a massive issue but why put a sign up if it’s not the case."

"The hotel itself was beautiful, the staff were warm and welcoming. We stayed on a Wednesday which is steak night so if you want a meal there make sure you book first as it was very busy. It was also a bit pricey .Went for a lovely Country walk for an hour or so around the area till it got dark. Only down side was breakfast. I only book a hotel where breakfast is included but here you only have cold breakfast (which was ok & good choice) but if you want hot food or a good old fry up, you have to...

"Charming and lovely property and owners. Our room was so comfortable and elegant that I'm considering decorating one of our bedrooms to match. Tiny little touches like fresh cookies each day and returning to our room with soft music playing on the radio elevated the experience. I wish that we could have stayed longer, and we will definitely come back. We enjoyed the breakfast, what a great way to start the day! The tasting menu and service at dinner was exceptional. "Lovely old Inn with plenty of country walks on your doorstep. Convenient location close to Cotswold Wildlife Park and Burford. The Inn was well presented with nice decor in the bar and restaurant area. Good quality food and portions for dinner (very busy, book in advance), the included breakfast fast was good too. The room was very spacious and larger than expected, we also had a large separate bathroom with bath. Some furnishings were a little worn but that's to be expected in a period inn....
