Middle Lake Cozy Cottage - Hosted by Simple Lyfe Stays

This cozy cottage on Middle Lake has a spacious yard perfect for yard games. This quiet, no wake lake makes a perfect family friendly or couples location. With one queen sized bed and 4 single beds it sleeps 6 comfortably. Feel free to bring your ORVs and kayaks. Enjoy a soak on the hot tub at the end of the day. You will not be disappointed in this home base to explore the outdoors. Please note that you will be sent our rental agreement once you book your stay.

Other things to note.
A great quiet spot on a small no wake lake. The road has very little traffic and you can snowmobile or ORV right from the driveway with plenty of room to park your trailer. The property is very level so there is easy access to the lake with no steps. Nice firepit for campfires in the evening.

Lovely lake House!
We loved this place! The house had everything we needed to have a quiet, relaxing time. We watched some DVDs. (The DVD player looks broken but works fine if you hold the door open when you eject/close the tray.) We were also able to connect the smart TV to our hotspot and watch some YouTube. There were plenty of supplies to assist with cooking dinner. Bigfoot pizza and ice cream and The Cottage are both must tries and right down the road. We also enjoyed a visit to the Bitely Tavern. But the real reason to rent this place is the lake. Sitting outside and enjoying the view, the sounds of nature and peacefulness was transcendent. Sitting in the hot tub under the giant trees and enjoying nature in such a lovely location was a true joy. We loved sitting by the lake watching fish, frogs, turtles, geese, insects and birds. If you can't handle insects, this is not for you! This is a house on a lake!! They do provide a citronella candle, but we forgot to bring repellent and I have several big bites. Worth it.

Unwind Unplug cozy quaint getaway
My girlfriend and I wanted a quick getaway to celebrate her birthday and have some time to relax and unwind, this place was just that. When we entered I could tell that there was a thorough and proper cleaning, all the appliances worked well and the kitchen is stocked with basics for cooking and eating. My big thing was surprising her with the hot tub outside, it was clean and worked very well, it was a big hit for her she enjoyed it a lot. We grilled a couple times and were able to just take in the quiet lake atmosphere. When we did want to venture out Baldwin was just a short drive up M37, I would highly recommend Shoey’s log bar, excellent food better than the other restaurants. So anything I didn’t like… well the queen bed is very soft but that’s really just a personal preference, I need something more firm. The shower is on the small side, I’m a bigger person 6”1 260+ and really not a lot of space and the curtain doesn’t do the best job keeping water in. That’s really my only peeves, the place was great the area is spectacular with nature all around you. This place is great for a quick getaway and to unplug from the daily grind. Even without wifi available cellular roaming allowed for sending and receiving calls/text and there are a some dvd movies in the entertainment stand to watch. This place is great for the outdoor life with a paddle boat and a canoe. Great fire pit and of course the hot tub. I would stay here again. Responsive host easy check in and out.

Enjoyed our stay but no TV and Internet. Dvd player didn't work. For the price though it should of had these amenities. But enjoyed it

Area beautiful, had some big ants, a urine smell in bedroom closest to road, dog smell on furniture, we bought fribreeze deodorizer. Shower curtain does not work well.
