"We loved our stay. The cottage was literally steps to W. Cliff Drive with its trail along the ocean cliffs on the Westside of Santa Cruz. It was easy to see why the owner had won awards for restoration of the Carriage House. It was both beautiful and so thoughtfully done. Every day we noticed new details that were thematic, considerate or just pretty. Those little "surprises" were themselves a pleasure. Everything from the "horse" theme to the detail of the hardware chosen to the beach glass...

"This is absolutely perfect if you want to sleep under the redwood trees. You can lie in bed and look through the skylight at the trees way above you. The cabin is just above a creek so you can hear the small rapids water sounds. The owners and other renters were very friendly and welcoming. We have already booked our next year stay. We love this place."
