The only down side was the property wasn’t cleaned very well - old used contact lenses around the desk and bedside table and there was hairs on the bathroom shelf. I did a quick clean myself and throughly enjoyed the rest of our week the location was perfect and our lodge was next to the pond which was lovely."

"The cottage is beautiful, cosy and so quiet. We love the location as its a hidden gem. A quiet, beautiful corner of the lakes, with plenty of walks in the area. We enjoyed starting some of our walks from the cottage. Not far from keswick and amenities. A great stay"

"Using the shower over the bath the water was not draining even thiugh the pug was open, i had to pull it right out for the bath to empty and then i realised it was because it was blocked with thick hairs so had not had a proper clean in a while. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay, comfortable and welcoming. It had all you needed including a washing machine and dishwasher. This makes life easier especially when you are on holiday."

"Few bits of wear and tear in this lodge but comfortable, lovely bedding and towels, spotless bathrooms but kitchen bin iffy and dishwasher didnâ€™t work, more positives than negatives and will definitely return ðŸ‘"
