A lovely historic inn in a bucolic setting, rocking chairs on the porch, cows in the pasture, and chickens free ranging in the yard.
Breakfast was a joy with homemade sausages and bacon, and eggs from the chickens. Every breakfast was something new and delicious--a five star presentation.
I would love to return, but if you have mobility issues this is not the place to visit. The pathway to the inn was rocky
and uneven slate, many stairs ( if you get a room upstairs even more steps). no grab bars in the bathroom and a flimsy scatter rug that could be a fall hazard. If mobility is not an issue then this place gets high marks.
