"The property was extremely outdated and infested with bugs all over the windows and few crawlers on the floor. The AC was useless, barely cooling the room in the sweltering summer heat. The property manager was awful, telling us to find another hotel at our own expense when the power went out, leaving us without electricity, water, or working toilets. Do not stay here—if the power goes out, you're on your own with no backup generator, no support, and no basic amenities. Not recommended."

"Absolutely perfect location for exploring Seneca lake and the finger lakes wineries. We loved having coffee out on the deck in the morning and wine in the evening just watching the peaceful lake and the wildlife swimming by. The house itself was fine but really it’s the location and outside area you need to stay here for!"

"Mike's cottage is clean, beautiful, and stocked with all the goodies you need to enjoy a relaxing weekend on Seneca Lake. We spent most of our time hanging on the dock, kayaking the lake, or relaxing in the screen porch. The home was private, easily accessible and very clean/well maintained. Great location as well - a Walmart and downtown Watkins Glen are both less than 10 minutes away. Mike was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions that I had. Cant recommend this place...
