Burj Khalifa rises up from the sands of the desert to a total height of 2,723 feet (829.8 meters). The world’s tallest building is an incredible feat of engineering that took six years and 22 million man-hours to build. Travel up to the observation deck on the 124th floor by purchasing a ticket for the At the Top Experience. The journey starts in the reception area where you are transported on a moving walkway to the base of the tower. During the ride, projections onto the walls depict the history of Dubai.A high-speed elevator that travels at 30 feet (10 meters) per second takes you to the deck in less than 60 seconds. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer unobstructed views of the city, desert and the Persian Gulf. You can also step onto the outdoor terrace. Although you aren’t at the very top of the Burj Khalifa, you can still claim to have been on one of the highest outdoor observation decks in the world at 1,483 feet (452 meters). Two floors below the observation deck is the upmarket At.mosphere, the world’s highest restaurant and lounge. Visit for lunch, dinner or afternoon tea. For details and to make a reservation, check the restaurant’s website.Once you leave the Burj Khalifa, spend some time in its surrounding park. Within the 27-acre (11-hectare) landscape are a lake-edge promenade, forest grove, children’s play area and water features.Situated in the downtown Burj area of Dubai, Burj Khalifa is easily accessible by metro and bus. There is also parking for more than 14,000 vehicles at Dubai Mall, which is adjacent to the Burj Khalifa. At the Top Experience is open every day. The observation deck is wheelchair accessible. Purchase tickets at the office, which is accessed via the Lower Ground Level of the Dubai Mall. To beat the crowds waiting to ascend the skyscraper, book tickets in advance or pay extra for Immediate Entry Admission.

Reviews of Burj Khalifa
4/5 - Good
Visiting the Burj Khalifa was one of the main reasons I went to Dubai and of course the view is great. However, something to consider when going: be prepared for long waiting queues at the elevators. I had a ticket for 4pm, but it took me over 45 minutes to get to the viewing area on the 125th floor. It also took almost 40 minutes to get down again.
2/5 - Disappointing
Buy ticket online but don't bother to get the ticket for the aquarium as you can see as much for free from the Mall. Expensive when compared to what you get elsewhere for similar things.
4/5 - Good
Price to go to the top was very high. Over 500 Dirham
3/5 - Okay
ITS NOT MUCH FUN UP THERE, AND 7PM SLOT WAS CRAZY BUSY, SO RE-THINK, BIT BORING, FASTEST ELEVATOR GOING UP LIKE A PLANE. GOOD TO LOOK AT FROM OUTSIDE
5/5 - Excellent
Don't buy the photos they take of you we were offered 6 photographs for 1500 Dirham!! Astronomical. I want to add the Burj Khalifa experience though was amazing.
2/5 - Disappointing
Went to pay at 1.30p.m for 124/125th floor viewing and told it was all fully booked! Tried to upsell us higher floors at much higher prices. However on their official website there was availability all day (we couldnt book at that time as we would have needed ID which we had left in the hotel for safekeeping!). Went on "chat" function on the web and was advised there were different slots allocated for online bookings. As it was a weekday and the mall was not busy, and the website had lots of availability surely it would have been better to allocate more slots for on the door sales? Was not impressed and didnt go up there. They therefore lost out on 2 sales (and maybe several more)
