"This classic Victorian station hotel is iconic. It’s a wonderful piece of local history. The staff are friendly, the hotel retains all its charm and many of the rooms have been modernised. The main entrance is grand and reflects its status of the time. Yes it’s a huge hotel and without doubt will take some upkeep but I love its charm and it’s always very warm and comfortable whenever I stay. Deserves more stars than it gets. "
