"As soon as you pull in you are greeted by a beautiful willow tree. The property is just amazing, from the trout stream to the house. Oh my, the house, it is picturesque, it should be featured in a magazine. It is the cleanest vacation rental house we have stayed in. A big plus, just a short drive to Watauga lake. The host, Gary, is super friendly. We can’t wait to come back!"

"I love every second that we stayed here. Everything checks our ideal vacation. Quiet, secluded w/ a beautiful view. Our older dog is non aggressive reactive so every year I try to find us a secluded place where he could enjoy too. This is definitely the top of the most beautiful place we’ve ever stay. Made my birthday/ family trip extra special. Ms Karen was a great host! Will definitely stay here again.. "

"From the moment we unpacked the porch was calling out me. My husband and I are from Vermont and it was a LONG drive. Miss Pat and George were so accommodating and friendly. Invited us to church social and gave us some pointers on local animal rescues. The Cabin is BY FAR THE BEST EQUIPPED VRBO rental we have Ever stayed at and we have stayed in a lot in 10 years.
